ePortfolio Practice
The ePortfolio Practice group on the Exchange is part of online community developing around the Australian ePortfolio Project which is examining the current levels of ePortfolio practice in Australian higher education. The focus of this ePortfolio community of practice is to enable participants ‘to share knowledge outside of the traditional structural boundaries' and to work around the potential problems of slow-moving hierarchies in organisations (Lesser & Storck, 2001).
You may find the ePortfolio Practice group at http://www.altcexchange.edu.au/eportfolio-practice once you have logged into the ALTC Exchange. Click on the Subscribe link in the top left of the group screen.
ALTC Exchange members are invited to use this online space to contribute, discuss and debate to deepen shared knowledge and expertise through interaction; add to the resources, provide examples, discuss, challenge and support ideas, contribute and be involved. ePortfolio practice is a ‘connection not just a collection' Stuckey and Arkell (2006, p.7).
