This site contains a model for managing student placements. It considers pre, during and post placement stages and teaching and learning and management factors. This model was designed for Flinders University students, but is adaptable for a variety of practicum settings.

Teacher competencies have been used to assess trainee physical education teachers on practicum from the University of Ballarat. A consistent assessment tool is thereby provided to supervising teachers. Access to information on student progress and results has been improved by its integration on a website.
